Fiber preparation
1. In addition to the outer sheath of the optical cable, (if any, please remove the shielding and armor), then remove the wrapping layers until the loose tube is exposed. For the specific method, please follow the standard method recommended by the optical cable manufacturer, with a preparation length of 3m.
2. Clean the loose tube and the reinforced core sheath with detergent, remove the excess filling tube, and polish the outer sheath of the optical cable 150mm long with the provided sandpaper.
Optical cable installation
1. Select the seal ring with the smallest inner diameter according to the outer diameter of the optical cable, and put the two seal rings on the optical cable.
2. Put the optical cable into the corresponding hole.
3. Connect the shield and ground.
4. Wrap the self-adhesive sealing tape between the two sealing rings so that the sealing tape is wound to be flush with the outer diameter of the sealing ring to form a sealed end of the optical cable.
5. Press the sealed end of the optical cable into the cable entry hole.
6. Use a hose clamp to pass through the fiber optic cable reinforcing rib fixing seat and the cable core bracket, and fix the fiber optic cable on the base of the connector box. Tighten the hose clamp screw until the hose clamp is tightened.
7. Tie a nylon cable tie on the optical cable and cut off the excess length.
8. Please use plugs to seal the other unused optical cable holes. Seal tape is also wrapped around the plug.
9. Wrap the reinforcing member on the countersunk screw of the splice tray support and press it tightly.
Fiber connection
1. Prepare the optical fiber to be coiled 1.5 times after the reel, and then coil all the remaining fibers in the box.
2. Use a single-core buffer tube for single-core fiber loading, and use a ribbon buffer tube for ribbon-shaped fiber loading. Tie tightly with nylon cable ties at the entrance of the splice tray.
3. Connect two (band) optical fibers according to the prescribed method, and the connector should be inserted into the slot of the splicing unit, and the excess length should be coiled in the disc.
4. Cover the splice tray and press to make it snap into place.
5. According to the different capacity required by the splice box, determine the number of splice trays superimposed on the splice tray. The superposition type of the splice tray must meet the requirements of the optical fiber connector to be inserted into the splicing unit and inspection and maintenance.
For every two fusion splice trays, six holes on the rubber folds can be clamped to each of the three convex twists on the upper and lower trays; four rubber folds, two symmetrical positions on each side of the tray, such as stacking five For the splicing disc, according to the above method, the second layer disc and the third layer are buckled, the three layer disc and the fourth layer disc are buckled, the fourth layer disc and the fifth layer disc are buckled, and so on, the five discs are stably stacked together .
When it is necessary to observe or maintain the welding condition of a certain layer of disk, only need to remove the two folds fastened on the upper layer of the single side of the disk, and the fusion disk can be opened like a book page.
Box body seal
1. Box body packaging: Tighten the valve nozzle and the grounding screw before the box body is sealed. Insert the sealing strips into the sealing grooves around the box body; at the "U" grooves at both ends of the joint box, also insert sealing strips into the grooves respectively. Note: When using the sealing strip, do not pull the sealing strip artificially to avoid leakage.
2. Gently close the upper cover of the joint box, screw in the fastening bolts, tighten the tightening sequence in the order of the numbers marked on the cover, and use a torque wrench to forbid the fastening, and the torque reaches 25N·m.
3. After 5 minutes, use a torque wrench to tighten in sequence, and the torque still reaches 25N·m.
Removal of the cover
1. Loosen the 10 fastening bolts in sequence, and the cover and seat are still together.
2. Take four fastening bolts and insert them into the four corners of the box, and screw them into the top cover of the four corners symmetrically and evenly to separate the cover and the seat up to 6mm.
3. After 5 minutes, top the cover evenly to separate the cover and the seat> 6mm, until the cover and the seat can be easily separated by hand. Note: The cover must be removed gently during separation to avoid damage to the spliced fiber.
